Aarogya Foundation recently organized a clothes distribution event at Asha Kiran Orphanage and M.P Old Age Home. Embracing the belief that "to give an underprivileged person a pair of clothes is as good as dressing him with self-respect," the foundation aimed to bring dignity and comfort to the residents. This initiative not only provided essential clothing but also instilled a sense of self-worth and community support. The event was a heartfelt effort to show care and solidarity with those in need, reinforcing Aarogya Foundation's commitment to uplifting the underprivileged.
Crutches Donation
Crutches were donated to a needy person at Jharapada. The event was attended by Ex-Corporator Sri Suresh Chandra Jena, who continues to show his dedication to the community. This donation aims to provide essential support and mobility to those in need. The gesture highlights the importance of helping others and fostering a compassionate society. Bicycles Donated to Differently-Abled Individuals
The Aarogya Foundation generously donated bicycles to differently-abled individuals in our ward. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the community. Former corporator Suresh Chandra Jena and other people from the foundation were present to support this noble cause. The initiative aims to enhance mobility and independence for the beneficiaries. It was a heartwarming and impactful event for all involved.
Sanitization campaign
During the COVID-19 pandemic, a sanitization campaign was launched to ensure the safety and health of the community. This involved regular disinfection of public spaces, homes, and common areas to prevent the spread of the virus. The campaign raised awareness about hygiene practices, distributed sanitization supplies, and encouraged the use of masks and hand sanitizers. Volunteers actively engaged in cleaning and sanitizing high-contact surfaces, helping protect vulnerable populations and reduce the risk of transmission in society.
